Chelsea Harbach is the plant disease diagnostician at the Iowa State University Plant & Insect Diagnostic Clinic. Since taking an introductory plant pathology course as an undergrad, Chelsea has wanted to pursue a career in plant pathology and Extension. She began her career as a Commercial Agriculture Extension Educator with University of Illinois Extension. After three years in that position, she got the opportunity to return to ISU as the plant disease diagnostician at the PIDC, fulfilling her dream of becoming a plant doctor.
Chelsea is passionate about helping people with their plant problems and is ecstatic to provide diagnostic services to the state of Iowa.
