The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program will host a statewide, "last-chance" 2020 Commercial Continuing Instruction Course (CIC) opportunity for Commercial Pesticie Applicators. Attendees will need a computer and a good internet connection to participate in the online training between December 14 and December 18, 2020.

The appropriately named hammerhead worm (Bipalium sp.), also called the shovel-headed worm and broadhead planarian, is a large predatory flatworm drawing media and public attention in states surrounding Iowa. Hammerhead worms are non-native and of concern as an invasive species.
