Radishes are a cool-season, fast-maturing, easy to grow vegetable. They can be eaten fresh, added to salads, dips, sandwiches and stir-fries, or utilized as garnishes or decorations.
Although boxwoods (Buxus sp.) are not native to the U.S., their versatility has made them one of the most popular shrubs for edging, hedges, and topiaries in classic and modern landscapes.
Plants are popular for a reason. For standbys such as petunias and marigolds it's because they are easy to grow, they bloom reliably all summer, they are available in a wide range of colors and flower forms, and they have few insect and disease problems.
