Beekeeping Classes in Iowa


Beginning beekeeper courses offered by the Iowa Honey Producers Association (IHPA) are planned for several locations around the state. Locations, dates and times are tentative and subject to change. Please contact the instructor for the course in your area as soon as possible to express your interest in attending. Fees vary with location but are between $30 and $60.

Amaryllis bulbs are forced indoors for their large, spectacular flowers. Some individuals discard the amaryllis after flowering. However, it is possible to save the amaryllis and force it to flower on an annual basis. The key to successful reflowering is proper care.
