Plants for Shady Areas

It's still cold outside but now is the time to admire garden catalogs and plan for next year’s garden.  Those shady locations in your garden need annuals, perennials and ground covers adapted to low light levels.  See the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Yard and Garden news release from January 16, 2014 for more information on plants that do well in shady areas.
