Flower and Vegetable Transplants

 The common practice of planting transplants for warm-season vegetables like tomatoes, peppers and eggplant is extending to cucumbers, squash, cantaloupes, watermelons and others because transplants shorten the time by several weeks between planting and harvest.  See the ISU Extension & Outreach news release for April 24, 2013, for more information on how to increase your success with transplants.
